ETSD Art Program

Enriching life through works of art

In the Evesham Township School District, all students in grades K-6 receive art instruction. Seventh and eighth grade students may elect to take visual and performing arts electives as part of a related arts cycle. Instruction is implemented by a certificated art or music teacher at all grade levels. Art at grades kindergarten through six follow an interdisciplinary approach. This allows for special projects at each grade level that integrate all of the related arts in order to teach thematically.

ETSD has a long tradition for showcasing the talented work of our students through an annual district art show. See below for more information on this year's show.

29th Annual Evesham Township School District Art Show Highlights

Enjoy the highlights in the above video clip from the ETSD Eyes on Art Show that was held in the spring of 2023 at the Municipal Building. The annual show represents hundreds of examples of the wonderful art work our students created throughout the school year. The 2023 theme was Fun & Games and was a main part of the show, with a district display where each school featured one game. Other themes throughout the show included nature, portraits, still life, design, fantasy, multicultural and animals. The show opened on May 22nd with a Gala Reception that featured art presentations and music accompaniments from the MMS band, DMS orchestra, and DMS chorus. Thank you in advance for taking the time to view this year's highlights and we hope you were able to attend the full show at the Municipal Building. We are certain you were amazed by our talented students! A special thank you to our art teachers for making this show a success each year!

In partnership with administration and the PTA/Os, AGTS annually presents a portfolio of art spanning centuries, genres, and mediums to each of elementary schools across the district. The chosen artwork is carefully curated by the portfolio committee of the parent organization, Art Goes to School of Delaware Valley.
