Welcome to the Evesham Township School District's Free & Reduced School Meals webpage.
The Evesham Township School District participates in the National School Lunch Program and National School Breakfast Program. Eligible families may receive free or reduced-cost meals for their children.
New This Year – Apply Online Through the Genesis Parent Portal
Beginning August 3, 2026, families can submit their Free & Reduced School Meals application electronically through the Genesis Parent Portal. The online application is the preferred method because it is quick, secure, and allows for faster processing.
How to Apply Through the Genesis Parent Portal
- Log in to your Genesis Parent Portal.
- Select the Forms tab.
- Click Free & Reduced School Meals Application.
- Complete all required household, income, and student information.
- Review your application for accuracy.
- Click Submit.
- You will receive confirmation that your application has been submitted.

Paper Applications
Families who are unable to complete the online application may still apply using a paper application.
Paper applications are available:
- At your child's school office
- By downloading the application from this webpage – Scroll Down to Paper Applications
Completed paper applications may be returned to your child's school.
What You'll Need Before You Apply
Having the following information available will make completing your application easier:
- Names of all household members
- Names of all school-aged children
- Income information for everyone in the household8
Other Programs That May Qualify as Income
When completing your application, be sure to include all sources of household income, including:
- Wages or salary
- Self-employment income
- Unemployment benefits
- Social Security benefits
- SSI
- Pension or retirement income
- Child support
- Alimony (if applicable)
- Workers' Compensation
- Any other household income
Direct Certification
Some students automatically qualify for free meals through Direct Certification.
If your child has been directly certified, you will receive a notification from the district, and you do not need to complete a meal application unless instructed otherwise.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to submit a new application every year?
Yes. A new application is required each school year unless your child has been directly certified.
Do I complete one application for each child?
No. Submit one application per household, even if your children attend different schools.
How long does it take to process an application?
Applications are processed as quickly as possible. You will be notified once your eligibility has been determined.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. All information provided is kept confidential and used only to determine eligibility for meal benefits.
