    Meet Mrs. Casale!
    Mrs. Casale started at Van Zant in 1997.  She has taught second grade, third grade and kindergarten at Van Zant and is now back in second grade!  Mrs. Casale has a BS in Psychology from University of Pittsburgh and an MS in Elementary Education from Saint Joseph’s University.   She likes the people she works with, the wonderful children, and the very active parents!  Mrs. Casale loves spending time outside, especially walking and riding bikes.  She also enjoys spending time with her two sons and husband.
    Meet Mrs. Grossman!
    Mrs. Grossman is currently enjoying retirement with her family and two golden retrievers!
    Meet Mr. Katz!
    Mr. Katz teaches second grade at Van Zant Elementary School.  He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and also has a degree in Teacher Education from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

    When he is not teaching, Mr. Katz enjoys reading, working out, playing guitar and spending time with his friends and family.  Mr. Katz says, "There is no job better than teaching.  Each day is different, and children are a constant source of amazement. They are fun to work with, and watching them learn and grow is extremely rewarding."

    Meet Miss Skiffington!
    Miss Skiffington has been teaching since 2009. She has her teaching degree from James Madison University. Miss Skiffington's favorite hobbies are reading, exercising, being outdoors, spending time with her friends and family. Miss Skiffington LOVES all Philadelphia sports teams. She also loves working with the wonderful children and staff members at the Van Zant School! 
    Meet Mrs. Stavash!
    Mrs. Stavash started working at Van Zant in September, 1997.  She has taught in both first and second grade.  Mrs. Stavash has her degree from Elizabethtown College.  Mrs. Stavash is married and has two beautiful children named Nicholas and Sally.  She calls Van Zant home, not only because of her many years of teaching here, but also because she was once a student of this school!
