
School Wellness Week is celebrated annually in March to coincide with National Nutrition Month. This year's theme is "Discover the Power of Nutrition," click here for parent letter. Our goal as a district is to promote lifelong healthy behaviors, such as:
- Prioritize family meal times.
- Include a variety of healthy foods from all of the food groups on a regular basis.
- Drink more water.
- Be mindful of portion sizes. Eat and drink the amount that is right for you.
- Find activities that you enjoy and be physically active most days of the week.
- Fix healthy snacks.
- Stay positive and be kind.
- Be well rested.
- Reduce your screen time, where possible.
