Preschool Expansion Opportunity
Preschool Education Aid (PEA)
The ETSD was awarded state funding in October of 2024 to begin expanding preschool opportunities for Marlton residents. The district's goal is to provide free, full-day preschool to eligible three- and four-year olds within a five year period.
The district is currently in year two of the expansion project with a total of 25 PEA classrooms, 19 in-district and six private provider classes.
Year three will expand programs both in-district, as well as increase private partnerships. The lottery for the 2026-2027 school year opened February 1st and remained open throughout the month for families with age-eligible children. One lottery entry was allowable per child. The actual lottery was held in early March and families notified accordingly on March 6th.
