Annual District and School Grades Under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act:

All schools are required by the state to annually complete a Self-Assessment in order to assist the state in determining school and district compliance in implementing the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights (ABR) Act.  Click here to review a PowerPoint presentation that was provided to the board outlining the process and summary results for 2013-2014.  In December of 2014, the state released an official report containing this data, which was used to assign school and district grades.  The school grade is a raw score of data and the sum of the ratings for all indicators within each core element on the Self-Assessment.  The maximum total score for a school is 78 points.  The district’s grade is an average of the total scores of all schools in the district.  Click here to view the state report that includes all school and district grades.  In order to foster safe and positive learning conditions for students, this data, along with feedback from School and District Safety Teams, is used as part of an integrated process for reinforcing and strengthening our school and district climate and culture.

  • shoebox Shoe Recycling:

Please help Evans give your old shoes a “new” home. Drop off your old wearable pairs of men's, women's, and kid's shoes (we have boxes at Evans and at various locations around town like Fleet Feet and LL Bean), and they will be distributed for reuse at various local market places around the world.  Also, Evans will get $0.50 for every pound of shoes recycled, which will go toward student activities and needs! What a wonderful way to help our communities, stay green, and bring funds into our school!  Thank you to all who have donated, as well as our local stores who have assisted in making this such a successful initiative! Click HERE for more information.
