Annual District and School Grades Under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act:

All schools are required by the state to annually complete a Self-Assessment in order to assist the state in determining school and district compliance in implementing the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights (ABR) Act.  Click here to review a PowerPoint presentation that was provided to the board outlining the process and summary results for 2013-2014.  In December of 2014, the state released an official report containing this data, which was used to assign school and district grades.  The school grade is a raw score of data and the sum of the ratings for all indicators within each core element on the Self-Assessment.  The maximum total score for a school is 78 points.  The district’s grade is an average of the total scores of all schools in the district.  Click here to view the state report that includes all school and district grades.  In order to foster safe and positive learning conditions for students, this data, along with feedback from School and District Safety Teams, is used as part of an integrated process for reinforcing and strengthening our school and district climate and culture.

  • Evans Memorial Day Celebration 2015 

    It's a day we know well here at Evans. The Friday before Memorial Day is no ordinary day at our school. It's a day of celebration. It's a day of remembrance. It's a day of honoring our heroes.  Click HERE for the slideshow of the day's activities!

  • Evans Recess Relay for Life:
    On Friday May 29th Evans students will be participating in an American Cancer Society Relay Recess Event. They will come out to the playground during their specials period and lunch recess and walk or run the recess runner’s loop to raise money for cancer research. In the week leading up to the event, we will be highlighting ways that they can keep their bodies healthy and protect themselves from getting sick. Click HERE for information on how you can donate or volunteer your time!  Also find out about Penny Wars for this great cause!

  • Troop Collection:
    In honor of Memorial Day, we are collecting items for our troops to be donated to Operation Yellow Ribbon.  These items will be sent in care packages to our troops overseas.  Please send in any donations this week!  See list HERE for needed items.  Thank you for supporting out troops.
